Frances Regina "Frankie" Goeller

1935 - 2021

Frances Regina Goeller, 86, of Wye Mills, MD, died on September 21, 2021.

Frances, (Frankie), was born on August 28, 1935, to Francis Xavier Carr and Mary Regina Burke in Baltimore, Maryland.

On April 16, 1955, she married the love of her life William John Goeller. They went on to have three children, Michael, Thomas, and Dona.

Frankie was fiercely dedicated to all her children, instilling in all three of them the tools to go on to accomplish great things in life. Family came first and was above all else to Frankie, an example to all those around her. Up to and especially during her extended illness, Frankie was inspirational to everyone around her; the void left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Frankie was passionate about her store that she co-owned with her daughter Dona, The Cultured Pearl, and when she wasn't filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her store, fulfilling her dreams. She was also the President of Denton Women's Club, the Den Mother of her sons Cub Scouts, an avid soccer mom and a member of Republican Central Committee of Talbot County.

Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Goeller. She is survived by her three children: Michael J. Goeller and his wife Helen, of Rhode Island, Thomas M. Goeller and his wife Giselle, of Wye Mills, MD, and Dona M. Goeller, of Wye Mills, MD; six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Megan, Justin, Mathew, Patrick and Erin; and three great-grandchildren, Penelope, Grant and Archie.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday September 29th, 2021.
