Mary Gregg Obituary

Mary Brewer-Gregg passed away peacefully at her home in Starkville on October 6, 2023. Born in Oxford, Maine, Mary made Mississippi her home in 1974. God gave her the task of raising four boys and nothing made her more proud. Mary loved reading, writing poetry, and being outside with nature. She is survived by her husband, Michael Gregg and her four sons, Joseph MacGown (Jennifer) of Starkville, MS, Steven MacGown of Junction City, KS, Robert MacGown (Melissa) of Thomasville, NC, and Michael MacGown (Sacha) of Madison, MS, and one step-son, Michael Gregg II of Starkville, MS. Mary leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was especially thankful for Michael Gregg as her devoted caregiver during her time of need. He never left her side. A private family service will be held at a later date.
