Helping family and friends was her greatest passion. She worked at AT&T, starting as an operator at Wisconsin Bell and progressing to a corporate executive. My 88 year old mother was a good friend of Barb when she lived in Wisconsin. They worked together for the telephone company and Barb stood up for my mom´s wedding. My mom just mentioned to me that she hasn´t seen Barb on Facebook anymore. She always used to comment on our family pictures. So I researched and found out that she has passed away. My mom´s name is Joan Dobbe (Grant-maiden). She said Barb always contacted her for her birthday in August and when she didn´t she feared the worst. I have also talked to Barb when mom got back in touch with her after many years. I have memories of going to their house in Milwaukee as a child. Stevie Joe as he was called then was my younger sister´s age. Anyway please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Barb. My mom was really sad when I told her that she had passed. She was a very kind person and I am sure she is missed so very much.

Morristown will never be the same without Barbara's hearty laugh, engaging smile, and upbeat energy. She was a true and loyal friend for 30+ years, and an amazing leader. Barbara will live forever in my heart.
Sincere condolences to Jim and her family.
