Irwin Schwartz Obituary
Born in Jersey City, N.J., Mr. Schwartz previously lived in Warren, N.J. He retired in 1989 from Fred Alger Management, New York City, as a mutual fund manager.
He was the beloved husband of Karen Baker Schwartz; devoted father of Jonathan Baker Schwartz and Amy Beth Schwartz; dear brother of Gilbert Schwartz, and loving grandfather of Katherine Howell and Harrison Fischel.
He will be remembered for his quick wit and his sense of humor. Everybody has an "Irwin" story!

Irwin had a great personality, always making us smile with a funny story to share. He and Karen were the nicest hosts whenever I stayed with them at their home. He is missed. My thoughts go out to Karen, Amy, Jonathan and their extended family and friends.

We have lost the best there ever was.
One cannot say enough about my dear friend Irwin.
He was a sweet, kind and the most generous person anyone could ever hope to have for a friend.
Irwin will be sorely missed by everyones path he crossed.
Rest in peace my dear friend and keep Peggy laughing.
