Robert Bresky Obituary

BRESKY Robert J. Bresky Securities analyst, WWII veteran, lived in Scotch Plains, 84 Robert J. Bresky, 84, of North Port, Fla., formerly of Scotch Plains, died on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at his residence. Born in Elizabeth, Robert lived in Scotch Plains for more than 50 years before moving to Florida in 2007. A World War II veteran, he served as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps and graduated from Seton Hall University in 1949 with a B.S. degree in business administration. A retired stockbroker and securities analyst, Mr. Bresky was a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, a former two-time president of the New York Commodity Club and a charter member of the Amex Club of New York (affiliated with the New York Stock Exchange). He was also a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church in Scotch Plains. He is survived by two daughters, Lucille Bresky of Madeira Beach, Fla., and Cynthia ONeill of Chester; five sons, Robert Bresky Jr. of Oregon City, Ore., Douglas Bresky of Port Charlotte, Fla., Paul Bresky of Port Charlotte, Fla., Wayne Bresky of Ithaca, N.Y., and Charles Bresky of Port Charlotte, Fla., and three grandchildren, Rachel, Christopher and Corrin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Lucille J. Bresky, in 2007.
