BLEWIS Rose M. Blewis Formerly of Irvington and Toms River Member of Ladies Hibernians group, 90 Mrs. Rose M. Blewis, 90, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, N.J. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. Tributes may be sent to www.mem.com. Born in Shenandoah, Pa., Mrs. Blewis lived in Irvington and Toms River before moving to Saratoga Springs a year and a half ago. She was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church and its Rosary Altar Society. She also belonged to the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Society, Division 1, Toms River, and the Garden Club, Womens Club and Singles Club of Holiday City Carefree. Mrs. Blewis was predeceased by her husband, Leon W. Blewis, and is survived by her son, John Blewis of Mountainside, N.J.; her daughters, Mary Buydos of Clifton Park, N.Y., and Ann Wilcox of Cary, Ill.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
