Maria Stroud Obituary

Maria Tanice Stroud was born June 25, 1970, in Brooks County, Georgia, to the late Hannah E. Stroud and Eugene Henry. She received her formal education in the Brooks County School System and was employed at Micro Craft until her health failed. She was a member of Shumate Street Church of Christ. In 2014, she relocated to Statesboro, Georgia.
Maria Tanice Stroud departed this life on Monday, March 7, 2016, at Brown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Statesboro, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: husband, Glen Mincey; three sons, Malcolm Sherrod Stroud, Dijon Terrain Stroud and Frederick V. Manning; grandchildren, Caydon Stroud, Messiah Stroud, Zaeden Stroud, Kaleb Manning and Alanna Howell; loving sister, Katrina Stroud; three loving brothers, Roger K. Stroud, Rodney Kimbrough and Lamar Kimbrough; a host of in-laws in Statesboro, Georgia, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Maria Tanice Stroud will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Shumate Street Church of Christ in Quitman, Georgia, with Brother Tony Herring Sr., minister, officiating. Burial: North End Cemetery.
Public viewing is from noon-8 p.m. and family visitation is from 6-7 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, in the BTW Chapel.
Professional aervices entrusted to Blankumsee, Thomas & Wright Funeral Services of Quitman, Georgia.
