Oh, Lord. I got to know Jeanne's death today on Apr. 18, 2019 through my mutual frend when we went to UT-Austin for us to be prepared to be a teacher. Jeanne was a very compassionate woman inviting me to her house knowing that I might be lonely at Christmas and Thanksgiving. I thought that she invited her other friends, but I was the only friend besides her immediate family members. She encouraged me whenever I was discouraged by my school work. I had lunch with her many times, now I miss her like crazy. Jeanne, I love you so much and miss you so much. I am sure that she in in heaven encouraging me to stay strong. Miss you so much.

a lawyer at the Texas Attorney General's
Office.I was privileged to be co-counsel
during her first jury trial, in Kaufman
County. She was great and continued to
be a prized asset of the AG's office until she departed for more challenging
government counsel engagements. My con-
dolences to Mr. Malkani and family. Along

My thoughts are with the Malkani family. Since I have been friends with Patrick for a long time, I have gotten to know Mrs. Malkani and felt her warmth and comfort whenever I would visit. I always enjoyed talking with her and she continually treated me as if I was family. I especially admired her courage and affability even during her illness. She will be truly missed. My sincerest condolences to the Malkani family. I will keep her memory in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Harish and Malkani Family,
I was so saddened to learn of Jeannie's passing. What a tough loss to our entire Westlake community, but most of all to your family. Jeanne was just the best – smart, funny, caring…From the time our families first met through youth sports, to the scores of sunny fall days cheering our kids on to Westlake High tennis victories, to watching UT sports together, we all enjoyed Jeanne's sparkling wit, sincerity and love of life.
Having both grown up in New Jersey, Jeanne and I had a lot in common. We both loved the true Jersey Shore, where wonderful families of modest means but strong values would spend time together at the beach in the day time and on the boardwalk with their kids at night. Jeanne also got a kick that I knew all about her undergraduate college, Drew University, a beautiful campus. I used to kid Harish that he married the prettiest girl ever from Drew University.
I admired the passion and love Jeanne showed for her family as well as her courage and optimism even while going through so many tough times with her illness. Please know that Jeanne and your entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Lauren has become an incredible part of the Ocean Conservancy family over the last two years and is someone we all hold dear in our hearts. Dearest Harish, Lauren, Patrick and family,
Words cannot describe how much Jeanne meant to me. We shared a bond that only true sisters can share. So often she told me that you and her sisters, Kathleen and Patty, were everything to her, and then with a twinkle in her eye she would add "and my darling friend, Lynne." As you well know, Jeanne loved you fiercely, passionately. And as one of your eloquent friends wrote, Jeanne truly was a rare work of art...one that could never be replicated. On December 12th, our work of art "awoke in heaven's courtyard, free from pain within. The angels gathered 'round her and they took her by the hand."
