Martha Booher Obituary

BOOHER (Propst), Martha Lucia Martha Lucia Booher , born October 2, 1956 in Bossier City, LA to Orville & Doris Propst. Passed away on May 1, 2018, from a long battle with dementia. Martha was a gentle and accepting mother, sister and grandmother, always willing to offer a helping hand, with an added bit of prayer simply to make sure she had done everything possible to help. She had the most captivating story telling abilities. That would easily pass the time entertaining her grandbabies. Her charismatic nature was like the many timeless big screen stars of yesterday. She was loving, gracious, faithful, committed, honorable and glamorous in her own unique way. She valued hard work, family, and her faith. She leaves a warm and loving family with expectations that they will carry on her legacy of always being welcoming, accepting, and faithfully dedicated. She was preceded in death by Husband Richard A. Booher, Parents Orville T. & Doris A. (Wedgeworth) Propst, Brother Raymond C. Propst, Stepbrother Steven E. Lanpher, Stepsister Susanna C. -Aka (SueDoo)(Lanpher) Dyer, Niece Tammy J. Propst. She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Lynn (Cotten) Luton, Brandy Kay (Cotten) Glass, and six loving Grandbabies, Alyssa Nicole Walker, Tyler Joseph Luton, Taylor Kay-Michael Glass, Mya Marie-Lucia Luton, Elizabeth Lynn Luton, and Talon Alexander-Justice Warrick. Stepmother Baneila Lanpher, Brother David A. Propst, Stepbrother Wesley B. Lanpher, Sister Rebecca L. (Propst) Hart, and Brother-In-Law (Wm) Brett Hart. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Martha Lucia Booher will always be loved and remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

My most heartfelt condolences to Martha's Family. She always was a gentle person, I went to High School(DEL VALLE) with her.
I will hold her and her family in my prayers. The loss of a loved is always heartbreaking, but God will pull all of you through the darkness and there will be light again. Thinking of you and praying for you all.
