Anne Brand Obituary
May 29, 1924 - April 18, 2016
Stayton - Anne, 91, died April 18 in Salem. She was born in Newton, IL and moved to Stayton in the late 1930's. Anne married Al Brand on June 26, 1945 In Stayton, he proceeded her in death in 1990. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, National Catholic Society of Foresters, and the Altar Society. Anne enjoyed sewing and helped start the St. Mary green sale and worked on it for many years. She is survived by sons: Vince (Terry) Brand of Sublimity and Mike (Sharon Rose) Brand of Stayton; brother: Jim (Sharon) Frichtl of Stayton; sister: Betty (Roger) Blades of Sublimity; sister-in-law: Marion Frichtl of Salem; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Anne was preceded in death by sons: Marty, Joe and Stephen; brothers: Florent and Gene; and sister: Lucille Fery. Viewing will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 2 - 9 pm at North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Stayton. Contributions may be made to Regis High School, St. Mary Endowment fund or Immaculate Conception Parish Center fund. Serving the family, North Santiam Funeral Service, Stayton.
Vigil service will be Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 6:30 pm and Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 am both at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Stayton
