Elmer W. Hagan Sr. passed away at his home on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007. Elmer was born in St. Augustine to Robert and Adele Hagan on Nov. 15, 1942. He served in the U.S, Marine Corps and later worked for many years at Lakeview Dirt as a truck driver. Mr. Hagan had a passion for both hunting and fishing, but most of all he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Mill Creek Baptist Church followed by burial at Wildwood Cemetery.
Mr. Hagan is survived by his wife of 33 years, Corrine Faye Rackliff Hagan; three sons, Russell (Ronna) Copeland of Dallas, Ga., Mark Hagan and Elmer (Tracy) Hagan Jr., both of St. Augustine; daughter, Clarice Lake of St. Augustine; two sisters, Paula (Bert) Gribble of Satsuma, Fla., Janiece (Harold) Solano of Elkton, Fla.; three brothers, Earl (Dana) Hagan of Perry, Fla., Robert (Minnie Lou) Hagan Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Mike (Kay) Hagan of Concord, N.C.; 10 grandchildren, Dale and Austin Copeland, Sabrina, Johnny, Mark and Justin Hagan, Samantha and Daniel Lake, Jonathan James and Alayna Hagan; two great-grandchildren.

corrine, i wasn,t able to make the viewing or funeral but nevertheless i had you and everyone in my thoughts all the time. when i think back over the years i remember the times elmer and myself went over to gilman paper company and hunted turkeys and went to the pits and fished. also when we used to hunt deer out at murrats landing with the cheshires and rest of the guys.i have nothing but good memories of elmer. i love you and all your family your brother claude....

We are sad to here about Elmer and are praying for you guys.Even thou my grandkids don't know Who he is he would always blow the horn in the mornings when he went by in the dump truck while they were waitng for the school bus. They loved it, He was a good man and will be missed. Please let us know if we can help in anyway.
