Gloria Jean McKnight

Gloria Jean McKnight, 59, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away May 11, 2015, at the Bailey Family Center for Caring following a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine and was born to the late David McKnight and Evelyn Oliver. She was a graduate at R.J. Murray High School and later employed at various hotels as a housekeeper.
Ms. McKnight was preceded in death by her parents, David McKnight and Evelyn Oliver, her siblings, Richard and Ronnie McKnight.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Felicia McKenzie (Anthony), Sherrell Proctor, Michael McKnight and Dion Proctor; siblings, Larry McKnight, Jacksonville, Carrie Miller, Palatka; grandchildren, Haddiyya McKenzie, Anthony McKenzie, Tatianna McKenzie, KeéNila McKenzie, Kamari McKenzie, Serenity McKenzie, Conyé Proctor, Shaqara Johnson, SháMiya Thomas, Malich Proctor, Zaiden Proctor, Michael McKnight Jr. and Mydeana Smith, all of St. Augustine; nieces and nephews, Dominique McKnight, Ronnie McKnight, Janet McKnight, Georgia, JáKeim Jackson, Jalan Jackson, Jonshay Jackson; brother and sister in laws, Robin McKnight, Jacksonville, Sylvester Reed, Palatka, Tammy Anderson, Michelle Holmes, Mia Connor, Terrance Connor, Barry Holmes; and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2015, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
