June Fry Obituary

June Eleanor Foster Fry passed away peacefully in her home in St. Augustine, on April 14, 2006 at the age of 83. Born in Elmer, N. J., the daughter of Amy and Preston Foster, June aspired to become a journalist and to carry on the tradition of working on the family newspaper. She attended William and Mary College, where she met her future husband Bernard M. Fry. Together they raised five sons. She was bright and friendly and, while raising her family she pursued her many interests and talents including among others, art, acting, writing, jewelry making, and stamp collecting.

She is survived by her sons: David F. Fry of Oakland, Calif.; Richard M. Fry of Olney, Md.; Douglas P. Fry of St. Augustine; Donald C. Fry of Mobile, Ala.; and Bernard M. Fry Jr. of Bloomington, Ind.; and by her sister, Rosena Auerbach of Hollywood, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the United Universitalist Church of Bloomington, Ind., on June 3.

Kotrady-Hudgins-Croyle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
