Larry Isdahl Obituary
Larry was born in Willmar, MN, to devoted parents Fern and Otto Isdahl. He graduated from Stillwater High School in 1963 and earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota in 1974. From 1968 to 1971, Larry was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, during which he served in Vietnam. Larry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and his life revolved around his family and his love of coaching soccer and basketball. He was also an extraordinarily gifted architect and builder.
Larry is survived by his wife Johanna, sons Zachary and Aaron, daughter Nansubuga, and grandchildren Nsaba and Kaaya. He is loved and remembered by his brother James (Lynda) Isdahl, his sisters Betty (Bruce) Nelson and Judy (Krage) Vindal and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life to honor Larry will be held on November 18, 2023, at Riverbend at River's Edge, 1820 Raleigh Road, New Richmond, WI 54017 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a service beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Memorials to be directed to the Larry Isdahl Scholarship Fund at the Hudson Soccer Association, P.O. Box 1407, Hudson, WI 54016.
He will be forever missed.

Johanna.. get the Gazette on line.. Just happened to see this.. My sincere condolences to you and your family.. The last time I saw Larry was in Oakland in September 68 .. We were both on our way to Nam.. He said he couldn´t go.. I went on without him.. Made it back.. Often wondered what happened to him... Again so sorry for your loss..
