Anne Longo Obituary

Longo, Anne McKee passed away Monday, July 9, 2018. Born on February 20, 1956, Annie was the loving wife of the late Pat Longo; daughter of late Oliver and May McKee; mother of Max Kahle (Emily Arneson), Adrienne Kahle (Mark Fauke), and Anne Travers Kahle (Brian Donn); stepmother of Patrick (Kelly) Longo, Jessica Thomas, Jennifer (Bill) Engel and Thomas (Arienne) Longo; sister of Andy McKee (Kevin Mullery), Oliver (Susan) McKee, Joan (David) Culver, Didi (Tim) Noelker, Leonne (Ilija) Arsenovic, and Nick (Tracy) McKee; grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 2. Annie, the Queen of Love, Laughter and Fun, had infectious joy, and gave freely her talents and skills. She enjoyed baking cookies to thank people for their kindness or just to bring joy to others. She adored her husband Pat and loved spending time with him at Lake of the Ozarks and Seabrook, SC. She was deeply devoted to her family and friends, had an intense faith in Jesus, and loved her church family. Services: Memorial July 12, 8 p.m., St. Louis Family Church in Chesterfield, MO. Annie was my good friend during the high school years at St. Joe. She always made me laugh, was fun loving, kind and generous. I am grateful that she introduced me to her wonderful family and loved hanging out at the house on Portland Place. My love and prayers go out to all the family.

So sorry to hear of Anne's sudden passing. I remember her from grade school at City House. Her laugh and joyful spirit was so infectious. Thinking of her makes me smile. I'm so happy to know she is in the loving arms of Jesus and possibly with her wonderful husband. Praying daily for your loss as I feel such a loss of a great lady. Thoughts and prayers of comfort.

"You are the light of the world" because THE Light of the World reigned in you. The world is a better place even now you're gone from it, because of the afterglow, and His Glory you were so free in sharing.

There is not enough space on here to express the feelings and love I have for Annie. She and I spent time together on SI missions and disaster relief trips over the years, and I treasure every single minute I have had with her. She made me laugh, cry, and always made me feel special. I miss her (and Pat) and there is a special place in my heart for both of them forever. My deepest condolences to their entire family. Love and blessings.
