Kolb, Kenneth Charles
Passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 22nd, 2024 at the age of 93 after a long and happy life. Ken was born in St. Louis on September 18th, 1930 to Charles and Kathrine Kolb. After graduating from St. Mary's Catholic High School he attended Washington University and graduated with his degree in mechanical engineering. In his retirement, Ken spent his time traveling with friends, attending his grandchildren's events, and volunteering for the ALS Association, St. Vincent de Paul, and Muscular Dystrophy Association. Ken joins his beloved wife, Kathleen O'Reilly Kolb, their daughter, Karen Bathke, his brother, Herbert Kolb, and his parents, Charles and Kathrine Kolb, in the Kingdom of Heaven. He will be missed terribly by his son, Paul Kolb, his grandchildren, Jordan, Tyler, Evan, and Clayton Kolb and Alex Bathke; his great-granddaughter, Antoinette Gardiner; his brother and sister-in-law Bob and Phyllis Kolb, as well as many other friends and family members.
Services: Visitation will be open to the public from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 2nd at Kutis Funeral Home at 10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church at 10 a.m. at 8866 Pardee Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123. In lieu offlowers, please make a donation to St. Vincent de Paul or the ALS Foundation.
