Duggan, Samuel Wyss
Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, August 14, 2022. Beloved husband of Lily (Trout) for 62 years; dear father of Beth (Doug) Van Horn, Sam (Shawn) Duggan, Patty (Jeff) Otto, the late Ann Duggan, and Ellen (Michael) Ariston; dear grandfather of Ben, Ally and Nicholas Duggan, Andrew, Peter and Caroline Otto, and Chloe and Dylan Ariston; dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Sam was born and raised in St. Louis. He attended Christian Brothers College High School and graduated from Saint Louis University. He served in the Air Force. He was an Affiliated Member of the Christian Brothers, Knight in the Order of Malta, and Man of the Fleur de Lis. Sam was a longtime member of the MAC and was an avid Billiken basketball fan.
Services: Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Ste. Genevieve du Bois Catholic Church, 1575 N. Woodlawn, Warson Woods, MO 63122 at 10:00 a.m. Interment private. Memorials to Christian Brothers High School 1850 De La Salle Dr, St. Louis, MO 63141 appreciated.
