Audrey M. Micks, 79, of Gladstone, MI passed away Wednesday morning March 8, 2017 at home following a brief illness with pancreatic cancer.
Audrey was born January 15, 1938 in Alconbury, England the daughter of Ted and Mabel (Dew) Bitten. She was raised in England prior to moving to Oklahoma in 1958. She later moved to Mississippi in 1967. Audrey was united in marriage to Roy Micks on May 27, 1975. She moved to Gulfport, MS Mississippi where she resided until 1999 when she moved to Gladstone.
Audrey was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and card collector. She loved animals and attending garage sales. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and tending to her flowers in her garden. She will be sadly missed.

Daughter: Joy (Tim) Nerius of Trenary, MI
Grandchildren:
Jerry (Nicole) Burkhart III of Daphne, AL
Jessica (Marlon) Lewis of Biloxi, MS
Kerry (Chris) Smith of Ellisville, MS
Melissa (Uriah) Parrish of Hattiesburg, MS
Debra (Mike) Burkhart of Ellisville, MS
Angie (Scott) Dees of Sanford, N.C.
Sherri (Chris) Mohrman of Plainfield, IL
T.J. Nerius Jr. of Plainfield, IL
Melanie Nerius of Clayton, N.C.
22 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, 2 sons, Perry and Jerry Jr. Burkhart, and a sister, Evelyn Furlong preceded Audrey in death.
Private services will be held in the Summer at the New Orleans Practice Facilities. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the Micks family. Please visit www.skradskifuneralhomes.com where you can express your sympathy to the family.

I enjoyed spending time with her. She was gorgeous. She sometimes would not put her seatbelt on and when the car sounded she would say “ok Stephanie (or) ok Katie ( my sister)” she was fun to talk to. I loved talking to her about the Queen of England

Thoughts are with all the family over there have fond memories of when she was here living years ago to look at she is very like her grandma love to all Sally Boyall (niece)
