April 4, 1935 - March 29, 2021
Perkinston, Mississippi - Miss Gloria Jean Evans, 85, of Perkinston, passed away at her home on March 29, 2021, surrounded by family and friends.
She was a member of Sunflower Baptist Church. Miss Jean was a 1953 graduate of Perkinston High School where she received numerous honors and awards. She was a great caregiver, a great cook, and loved flowers.
She was preceded in death by parents, Nolan and Piccola (Hickman) Evans; her brothers, Port Evans and Kenneth Evans, and one sister, Lenora Evans.
She is survived by her sister, Sharon Evans of Perkinston, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Sunflower Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Hickman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., at Sunflower Baptist Church on April 3, 2021. Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements.
