I am so sorry to here of your moms passing. She was so wonderful at Ft Lauderdale High. Also at St Anthonys I would say a prayer for her when her name was announced. She was a very giving, vivacious, women and she will be missed.My prayers will be for the family , in time of healing and sadness.

We just learned of Ida's passing and our hearts go out to the family. We can't think of baseball and Mickel Field without thinking of Ida. She gave so much to so many. She will be missed by all.

Today we lost a very special lady. She came into my life 6 years ago as my patient and she fought a courageous battle with breast cancer. She had a very infectious personality and always gave of herself to staff and other patients even though there were times she wasn't feeling well herself. She personally helped me through a rough time in my life and we became instant friends. She touched so many people in her life including all her co-workers and has a wonderful family and many friends too numerous to count. RIP Ida Shields, I will always remember "sunny side up, greasy side down" and "Love you to the moon and back". You were a true angel here on earth and definitely have your angel wings now.....I will always love and miss you!
