MARIE VAN DOREN Obituary

VAN DOREN--Marie Antoinette, died of cancer December 30 in New York City. She is survived by her husband Peter and brothers Jean and Jacques Cornet and sister Helene Clarke. Manie was a 1951 graduate of the Sacred Heart School at Noroton and spent much of her working life in fashion, including two years as a volunteer at the Costume Department of the Smithsonian. From 1988-2000 she was the President of The Woman's Exchange in Manhattan. A memorial Mass will be said at St. Vincent Ferrer at 3pm Thursday, January 21.
