Maurice Posner Obituary

Posner Posner, Maurice (Lou), 83, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Manhasset, NY, passed away December 13, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Florence Posner (nee Marcus); father of Lawrence (Margaret), Stephen (Maureen), James (Monica); brother of Alma Mazer (Irwin); grandfather of David (Ellen), Sarah, Meredith, Rachel, Aaron, Michael, Liza, Kevin, Melissa, and Lauren. During WWII he served as a First Lieutenant in France. He returned to graduate from Penn State University with a degree in fuel technology. He later went to work at Marcus Brothers Textile Corporation in New York City. During his lifetime he was involved in several business and real estate enterprises. He was a loving husband and devoted father, brother, and grandfather. His guidance, encouragement and spirit will endure in our hearts and never be forgotten. Funeral services Sunday, December 16th at 10:00am at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, 5808 W. Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach (561)499-8000. Internment to follow at the The Gardens Memorial Park, 4103 North Military Trail, Boca Raton

Steve, Maureen and family;

We are so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather but we are glad that you were all able to travel down to Boca and gather together with the rest of your family before he passed away. We remember him fondly from his visits to your home... he was a lovely man.
