Rose-Marie Rutherford Obituary

Rutherford, Rose-Marie, 06/5/31-02/28/05. After a long and courageous fight with cardiovascular disease, Rose-Marie passed suddenly in the early morning hours of February 28, 2005. She is predeceased by her mother, Gertrude and father, Fredrick. Rose-Marie; friend, mentor and "mother to the kids" will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate to have had the opportunity to know her and love her. Rose-Marie immigrated to the United States in 1954 from Berlin, Germany and settled in Boca Raton, She had an illustrious career in banking and was one of the first women in Florida to be afforded a "senior officer" position in banking. Before she retired in 1995 due to health issues, she held the positions of Chief Financial Officer at Island National Bank and Trust, Boca Bank and Boca National. Dearest Rose-Marie, for all you have taught us and given us, for your wonderful words of wisdom, for your guidance and for your humor when we needed it the most... Thank You seems so inadequate. We Love You. Interment Private.
