Jerry Wells Obituary
Jerry Lee Wells, 62, of Van Buren passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at his home. He was born May 16, 1956, in Fort Smith. He was a retired master sergeant of the 188th Fighter Wing, Arkansas Air National Guard and former member and chapter president of Bikers Against Child Abuse (B.A.C.A.).
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wally Wells.
He is survived by a daughter, Loryn Davidson and husband Dennis of Fayetteville; a son, Clayton Wells of Fort Smith; his parents, Shirlene Booth and husband Eddie of Fort Smith and Jim Bill Wells and wife Mary of Fort Smith; a brother, Kelly Sumrall of Houston; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Church of Alma with interment to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be members of B.A.C.A.
The family will visit with friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
