Rodney Williams Obituary
Tallahassee, FL - Rodney Lamar Williams, 44, passed on Monday, March 26, 2018. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Bethel AME Church, Tallahassee, with burial in St. John Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 3-7 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE. Rodney was a member of Bethel, graduate of Godby High and had studied at Tallahassee Community College. Rodney is survived by his wife, Monique Williams; daughter, Arie Williams; stepson, Vasean Peace; mother, Agnes (Ronald) Peacock; father, Lonza Lanier (Veronica) Williams; brothers, Cedric (Tysnie) Williams; Minister Christopher Williams; sister, Cynthia Williams; stepsisters, Summer and Aundrea Daniels; father-and-mother-in-law, Rev. Willie and Mable Webster; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Rodney, you were literally the first friend that I made at HealthSouth. You were such a jokester. We always had our FSU vs UM rivalry thing going on. There was never a dull moment at work when you were there.

Our hearts are heavy along with yours as we reflect on this premature passing of your beloved Rodney. We had the joy and pleasure of working with Rodney at Elder Care Services for many years. We got into many shenanigans around that place. Even after he left there, he would keep in contact especially during football season. We will sorely miss his smile and out-going personality. Rodney, always had away of making a challenging day at HS, a little brighter, and for that we thank God, for sharing him with us, for a moment in time.

To My Big Cousin.. Know I will miss you , your laugh, our joke sessions, as well as our FSU vs UM, trash talking during the games.. I promise I will be there for Mo and Re, and be there forever how long I need to be..
