Charles Buck

BUCK, Charles Charles Buck, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2015. Born on June 28, 1928 in Woodland, PA he served in the Air Force for over 30 years before being discharged in 1976 and ultimately achieved a rank of Master Sergeant. Following his career in the Air Force, Charles worked as an electrical engineer and held that occupation until he retired in the late 1990's. He enjoyed solving daily crossword and sudoku puzzles in the newspaper, taking daily walks around his neighborhood, renovating his home. He's survived by his wife Tao whom he met in 1972 while on-duty for the Air Force in 1972. He is also survived by his daughter Donna (Scott) Ellzey who currently resides in Alabama, daughter Phuong Anh Dang (Dau Huynh) from Carmichael, sister-in-law Trang Dang, step-daughter Thoa Dang (Hung Hoang) from Sacramento; and grandchildren Jessica, Michael, Minh, Jrue, Alexis and Zachary. Visitation to be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 4-8PM and Funeral Service on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10AM at East Lawn Mortuary and Sierra Hills Memorial Park, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA.
