To family members:
We have known Rabbi Susskind since the middle '60's. We are members of Pasadena Community Church, and he was friends with J. Wallace Hamilton and several of our other ministers. I (Sylvia) was on staff there for some 30 years. During the last 8 years, he has been our 'neighbor' in the same condo building. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, he was bright, challenging, witty, and most gracious! And he has made a wonderful difference in the community!

My deepest condolences go out to the Rabbi's family and dear friends. May your memories sustain you during this difficult time. Rabbi Susskind was a special person to my grandparents, Vivian & David Yaffin and the rest of my family from the moment he arrived in St. Pete in the 50s. His warmth, vivacious personality and humor will be remembered fondly. Warmest regards, Candi Obrentz
