Eleanor SEDOR Obituary

SEDOR, Eleanor age 84, a longtime resident of the Tampa Bay area, entered into rest Feb. 23, 2014. She was an assistant to the Executive Director at The Geisinger Hospital in Penn. She left that job when she got married, started her family and became a devoted mother to her eight children. She then worked for 15 years at Citizen & Northern Bank in Wellsboro, PA. After retiring from the bank, she and her husband, Wassil, "Fritz" moved to Florida. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and liked to volunteer at the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Eleanor enjoyed baking, playing bingo, ceramics and supporting her children in their activities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wassil. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Weill (Max), Linda Holland (Peter), Kathy Brodhag (Bill), Mary Reichley (Durrell); sons, Anthony, Michael (Maria), Paul (Lydia), Christopher (Laura); brother, Albert Direnzo; 13 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Ma-ss will be celebrated 10 am, Monday, March 3, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Valrico. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm, Sunday at Stowers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society-St. Stephen Catholic Church or to Alzheimer's Association in Eleanor's memory. Stowers Funeral Home www.stowersfh.com
