George DYER

DYER, George 78, of Tierra Verde, Florida, passed away on his birthday, April 1, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Judith; daughters, Lauralyn Dyer, Kimberly Millott Salfelder; son, David Millott; grandaughters, Nala and Parisa Millott; sister, Irene Meis. A graduate of Ft. Lee High School in 1962, George went on to graduate from Upsala College with a BA in Biology in 1966 and the Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School in 1970. He opened his office in Sparta, New Jersey, and went on to marry his first patient, Judy, in 1977. He loved and took pride in his work enjoying a thriving practice for 50 years. An incredibly talented man, George was a musician, chef, fisherman, golfer, and world traveler. He loved decorating for the holidays, but besides his family his greatest passion was gardening. As an active member of the Pasa Grille Church, the Isla Del Sol Golf Club, and the St. Petersburg Yacht Club, George celebrated a full life that made an impact on everyone he met. He will be greatly missed. A private burial will be held Friday, April 8 at Woodlawn Cemetery. A memorial to celebrate his life will be held in the near future.
