Janie Marie HANNER

HANNER, Janie Marie, 85, of Florida, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. She was born on November 12, 1929 in Marion, Arkansas to the late Thomas Edward Burns and Ethel F. Crews Burns. She was a loving wife to the late David Hanner, whom she married in 1954. They lived most of their married life in Green Bay, Wisconsin before moving to and then retiring in Land O' Lakes, Florida. Janie most cherished her husband, children, and grandchildren. She had a soft spot for all animals and anything in nature. Janie's perfect day of retirement was fishing with Dave. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Sammye Hanner of Clearwater, FL, and Holly Hanner of Atlanta, GA; four sons, Joel Hanner of Marinette, WI, Ed Hanner of Safety Harbor, FL, Mike Hanner of Ft. Worth, TX, Jim Hanner of Green Bay, WI; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas, with Graveside services at 2:30 PM on Friday, April 4, 2014, at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
