ALVORD, Mary Josephine 95, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Mary grew up in Michigan State and attended Michigan State University where she acquired her Bachelors Degree in Education. Mary lived her life to the fullest working as a teacher for 30 years. Post retirement, she volunteered at Heritage Park, Ruth Eckerd Hall, the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, and Hospice. Mary was predeceased by her spouse, Jack Alvord; and her grandson, Joseph Alvord. She is survived by her daughter, Shan Perrotte (Mike); her son, Bill Alvord (Carol); and grandchildren, Briana, Mia, and Ali. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mary's honor to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), action.aclu.org.
