William FAEDO

FAEDO, William Jr. passed away peacefully on February 6th at his home. He was proudly born and raised in West Tampa, FL, graduated from Jefferson HS in 1965 and from the University of Tampa in 1972. He was commissioned by the state of Florida as a Parole and Probation Officer and then hired by the Honorable E J Salcines as a criminal investigator with the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office. He retired after a 35 year career in law enforcement. The last 10 years, Billy was assigned to the major crimes division. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Dinora Faedo; his beloved daughter, Stephanie; and grandparents, Tita and Oscar Ramirez. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Maria; and his son, Steven Levy. Billy has many lifelong friends and colleagues, including Coach Bobby Diez, Rene Rodriguez, Clyde Darville, Jerry Pedrero and Jimmy Alfonso, the gang at Ricks on the River, all the guys from the many Key West trips and his many Faedo cousins and his cat Papo. There will be a Celebration of Life at Ricks on the River on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 2 pm - 4 pm.
