Edward J. Gallagher Jr..

Edward J. Gallagher Jr., 80, died June 22, 2010. He was born in Philadelphia and lived in Fort Pierce for 17 years, coming from Catskill, N.Y. He was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 40, life member of the Catskill Elks Post 1341 and a chief member of the Great Papas Society. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Gallagher of Fort Pierce; daughters, Margaret Bagshaw of Catskill, Pat Vorees of Buford, Ga., and Catherine Dreger of Phoenix; son, Michael Dewey of Duanesburg, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Bernard and Edward Gallagher; a grandchild; and great-grandchild.
