FRED NORRIS

FRED "FELTON" NORRIS, JR. Fred "Felton" Norris, Jr., 81, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at his home in Vero Beach, FL. Felton was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and lived in Vero Beach for 16 years coming from Dallas, TX. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and worked for 43 years in the Textile Industry. Survivors include his wife Gail Beveridge Norris of Vero Beach, son David Norris and his wife Marsha of Atlanta, GA, daughter Brenda Norris of Greensboro, NC, grandson Brandon Hyde and his wife Lorrel of Greensboro, NC, great-grandson Jackson Hyde of Greensboro, NC. Felton was preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years Loretta Bernstein Norris. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Pelican Island Audubon Society www.pelicanislandaudubon.org A Memorial Celebration will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at 4:00 PM at The Plaza, 884 17th Street, Vero Beach, FL. A reception including a light buffet and cocktails will immediately follow the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
