Peter R. Spano, 80, of Ft. Pierce Florida passed away peacefully at his home on March 22, 2016.
Born and Raised in Jamaica, NY on February 22, 1936. The son of Joseph and Gertrude Spano. He moved his family to Ft. Pierce Florida in 1977. Peter worked for the United States Post Office as a letter carrier.
He was a devoted husband and father.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Spano, 7 children, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, one sister and 3 nephews. Also many life long friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Gertrude Spano and 2 Grandsons Christopher and Nicholas Trawick.
A church mass will be held on Wednesday, April 13th, 2016 @ 10am at St. Marks Catholic Church, 1924 Zephyr Ave., Ft. Pierce, Florida. Proceeded by a burial at White City Cemetery, Followed then a gathering & rememberance at The Ft. Pierce Elks Club.
Flowers may be sent to White City Cemetery, 3800 Sunrise Blvd., Ft Pierce and if you wish a donation in his honor to St. Marks Catholic Church. Friends may visit: m.allcounty.com
