Katherine Morin Obituary
NORTHBRIDGE - Katherine M. "Kay" (Jatrinski) Morin, 98, formerly of Pollard Rd. died Mon. April 14 at St. Camillus Health Ctr. after an illness. Her husband Wilfred W. Morin predeceased her on Oct. 8, 1966. She is survived by 2 sons; Bill W. Morin of Northbridge and Ronald Morin and his wife Janis of Northbridge; 2 daughters, Diane K. Massey and her husband Eugene of Sutton and Lorraine M. Rutkiewicz of Northbridge; 20 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters Genevieve and Mary of Poland. She was predeceased by a sister Stephania Salloum; 3 brothers Joseph, Benjamin, and Stanley and a grandson Steven E. Massey.
Born in Worcester on April 18, 1915 she was the daughter of John and Mary (Wojciczka) Jatrinski and lived in Northbridge 61 years. Kay worked as a textile worker at several area woolen mills as well as at the Whitin Community Center retiring in 2008. She was a member of St. Peter's Church and belonged to the Ladies Guild, the American Legion Auxillary, and the Northbridge Seniors. She enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center, crafting, and working around in her yard.
