If you get there before I do, don't give up on me

I'll meet you when my chores are through

I don't know how long I'll be but I'm not gonna let you down

Darling, wait and see

And between now and then 'til I see you again

I'll be loving you, love me

Sheryl, you have been my closest, dearest friend since we were in the fourth grade together.
There hasn't been a major event in either of our lives that wasn't shared. We have laughed, cried, rejoiced, and supported each other throughout the years. You have always made me feel loved and accepted. I will be lost without you. I will keep you close in my heart and carry you with me wherever I go.
You were always braver, more adventurous, and more courageous than me. New beginnings didn't scare you. I refuse to say goodbye. I refuse to believe this is the end. Instead, I look at it as being a new beginning.
This adventure took you a little further away than Nebraska, but I know our journey isn't complete. You will be my guiding light...an angel beckoning me onward...until we meet again.
I love you always my friend.

Sheryl took time to do kind things for others, no particular reason was needed. She was thoughtful and gave from the heart. I have always been glad to have been lucky enough to call her a friend. I will miss you Sheryl, but the flowers you and Bill so kindly shared with me will remind me of you every season. I pray you are in the loving arms of the people who passed before, you will be forever missed.

Sheryl we didn't know you well. You married Bill and entered our family. The few times we did see you, we were able to see the happiness in Bill's eyes and the smile on his face. You two completed each other. I will miss the conversations we did have. Knowing that we have such a sweet angel among us, makes me smile. Until we meet again, Love Jim, Kim Hoover and kids.

When I think of all the conversations I will miss out on with my sister Sheryl I feel so sad. Sheryl was always there whenever I needed her. She never left me hanging or wouldn't come to my aid if I needed her. She helped me raise my two daughters. She gave me endless advice and it was always wise. I always thought when I was a child whatever Sheryl thought was good enough for me. If Sheryl thinks it, it must be so. I respected her so much. She was such an intelligent person but with a giving and caring heart. She'd do anything for me if I needed her to. There will never be another like her ever and the universe is lucky to have her. My sisters and I were lucky as hell to have her. She saved us in so many ways! I wlll love her forever! <3
