Shirley Cappuccio Obituary

Shirley E. Cappuccio, 79, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 in the U.S. Veteran's Medical Center, West Roxbury, following an illness.

She is survived by a sister, Natalie M. Cafarelli, of Clinton. Shirley was born in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Peter Cappuccio and Alice M. (Woodward) Cappuccio, who died on October 9, 2008. She attended local schools. A Registered Nurse, Shirley served as a Captain with the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. She later worked at various Boston area hospitals for many years before her retirement.

Shirley's Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 with a service at 10:00 a.m. in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church Street, Clinton. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua, NH. A calling hour will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's memory to the American Lung Association of MA, 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451-1991.
