Beverly Ann Hanlon lost her three-year war with cancer March 22, 2022, and passed away in peace at her home in Tellico Village.
Bev was born May 12, 1953, in Westfield, N.Y. She graduated Lyndonville High School and spent two years as an art major at Oswego College. She joined Eastman Kodak Co., where she had a successful 25-year career. But Bev's real passions were in decorating cookies into small, delicious pieces of art, designing and decorating her homes worthy of a magazine, landscaping and flower beds to be proud of, 30-plus years of loving her Old English sheep dogs and, most importantly, her love of people. She never met a stranger, not even while waiting in lines at the DMV.
Bev was preceded in death by her father, Veldon Badders; mother, Ginger Badders; stepmother, Gail Holland Badders; stepdaughter, Patricia Wilson; father-in-law, William Hanlon; mother-in-law, Gertrude Hanlon; brother-in-law, William Hanlon Jr.; sister-in-law, Bernice Hanlon; sister-in-law, Margaret Hanlon; and brother-in-law, Robert Schrag.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford Hanlon; her loving and handsome OES, Murphy; stepdaughter, Kelly Hanlon; stepson, Michael Hanlon; son-in-law, Steve (Joyce) Wilson; granddaughter, Hannah Wilson; grandson, Andrew Wilson; granddaughter, Clara McCormick; sister, Ev (Art) Finkle; brothers, Neal and Michael (Patti) Badders; stepsister, Amy Holland; stepbrother, Aaron Holland; brother-in-law, Charles Hanlon; and sister-in-law, Edith Hanlon Schrag.
In-lieu of flowers or cards, donations can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center or a cancer research center of your choosing - any would be appreciated.
Future arrangements for celebrating Bev's life will be announced by her family.
