Ann Linebaugh Obituary

Ann Harsh Linebaugh

Linebaugh, Ann Harsh passed away Oct. 31, 2019 at the age of 87. Born and raised in Nashville, she spent her last 12 years in Knoxville to be close to family. Preceded in death by her parents Marcellus George Harsh and Dorothy Hamilton Harsh, her husband George Phillips Linebaugh Jr., and her sister Emily Hudson Harsh. Survivors include sons George Linebaugh III of Springfield VA, Steve (Carrie) Linebaugh of Knoxville TN, David (Ellen) Linebaugh of Marietta GA, brother Marcellus George (Eleanor) Harsh of Huntsville AL, sister Courtney Wolfe of Hermitage TN, grandchildren Preston, Maria, Matthew, Sophia and Daniel Linebaugh and nieces Mary Kathryn, Jessica and Ashley. Ann grew up on a farm on Murfreesboro Road and attended Rosemont Elementary, Peabody High and Vanderbilt University. She married, had 3 boys and moved to Brentwood where she was a life long member of Brentwood United Methodist Church. Ann was an accomplished artist and many of her portraits and landscapes still hang in many Middle Tennessee homes. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandmother and loved her family,church and friends dearly. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 11th at 11 o'clock AM at Brentwood United Methodist Church, with a service to follow at 12.
