I knew John when he was a COL, serving on Active Duty in the Washington, DC area. He was always full of life and laughter. I remember his intelligence, strength, character and devotion and love for his daughter Tara. My heart goes out to his family. Camille, I send prayers to you and your family too.

Shirley and I are deeply saddend at the passing of John.
He was a special guy from the time we met at Father Ryan until his death....he never seemed to waiver. The world would be a better place if it was filled with the likes of John Mogan. Farewell my friend. Be with your maker in peace.

To the Morgan Family,Our deepest sympathy to the entire family. Did not know John well, however did see him in church on occasion. We are very sorry for your lose. Your family has something in common with ours, and that is my husband Antonio , also died on 7/5 and on that day it was 10 years that he went to his final resting place. As we pray for our loved one , we will also pray for John. May he be in a better place..and may the legacy he left never be forgotten.
God Bless you all!

My condolences to Dyanne and the Mogan Family. John was a great leader and inspiration to our community. His clarity and consul so helpful to me and many others, I will always remember his encouragement when we established our group to stay the course , to hold; " we needed to get more horse power", and we did , the seeds of strength he guided us with have grown into a guiding light for this community. I guess God needed some more horse power on that side , which may mean that something good is coming soon. You are in our prayers.

John was a fine officer and public servant and always a good friend. His service to his country and to the State of Tennessee will never be forgotten by those of us who worked and served with him. John was always a gentleman who cared for his fellow man. My prayers go out to Camille and his extended family.
