Larry King Obituary

Larry George King

Nashville, TN

Larry George King, 76, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 25th at his home in East Nashville. Larry was an East High Graduate who served his country in the Marines and served his community as a career Metropolitan Nashville Police Officer.

He was a loving, generous husband, father and grandfather who always provided for his family and brought us more joy, laughter and happiness than we could have ever asked for. He was a loved and respected man whose passing will leave a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. We pray for the strength to continue on and are grateful for the time that the Lord graciously gave us with him.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Glenda King; sons, Glenn (Karen) King and Jamie (Michelle) King; and grand-daughters, Lauren and Lucy King.

Larry George King will be laid to rest with Military Honors in the Veterans I Garden of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 2:00pm. The family will meet at Spring Hill Funeral Home at around 1:30pm and process to graveside.
