My deepest sympathy to Bennie's wife and parents. I knew Bennie from high school. We will all miss and remember his warm, room brightening smile, his never ending hugs, and that positive can do or everything will be alright attitude. God put Bennie in each of our lives for a reason, and hopefully we all absorbed some of Bennie's goodness that hopefully made each of us alittle better, but in the end, God decided that he needed to come home. It hurts our hearts, but at the same time, we were all blessed to have know him. Rest in Peace. Anita Baskin, Ripley, Tn.

There is no way to say what I want to say to express my sorrows for the family of Ben. He was a very special man. Anyone who had been around Ben for any length of time knew he cared and loved his family first, especially his wife. As I became to know Ben, I began to admire him more and more. Ben was very concerned about his daily work activities and providing for his family as many men do. But the thing I most admired about Ben was that he truly cared for his wife and family. His face always lit up and his voice had a definite tone of love and caring when he mentioned Audra. Ben also spoke very highly of his parents and you knew they had raised him to be the caring and responsible man he was. I miss Ben. He was one of God's special children. Someone sent me an email in the past that stated don't worry about the persons that you left in your past, because there was a reason they were no longer in your life. Ben was a person I was glad to have in my life. Ben touched so many lives in the short time he was with us, he was a good husband, son, friend, servant, and fellow coworker. I am and will always be honored to have known Ben as a fellow law enforcement officer and a friend. Ben if you are listening, please find me some good fishing spots and a place to go duck hunting up there. We will go together when I get there. Kristi Mc. TDR.

Ben was a pleasant person to everyone with whom he had contact. Although I did not know him well, he was always polite, friendly and wearing a smile. He will be sorely missed here in Revenue. My prayers go out to his family.

I didn't get to know Ben very well until we attended LEAD Tennessee together. When I told him my neighbor was from Ripley we talked about how everyone we meet in life can connect and relate to something from the other person. We will miss him at Revenue, and I want to let his family know he told me a lot of wonderful things about you all. I am so very sorry for you loss.

I worked with Ben when he was in our Memphis office, and loved switching his desk around when he was out of the office. He had this wierd thing (LOL) where he could tell something was out of place as soon as he sat down. I will miss you, Ben. God Bless your spirit, Audra and your parents.
