Dear Charlotte and Mike,
It is always hard to find words of comfort to give at times like this, but please know that we have been thinking of you and your family during this difficult time in your life. We are now focused on how wonderful a man your father was, what a good ride through life he had, and the wonderful family that he and your Mother created for everyone to cherish. Peace be with you.

My wife Trudie and I met Charles and Laura in the early 1970's. We were neighbors and we used to have some of the best weekend parties with them and a few other neighbors. There was always something cooking, lots of beer and playing guitars. We had a wonderful time. It now seems so long ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with Laura and the rest of the family.
