Edna Forrest Obituary

Forrest, Edna Grant "Noosie" A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died Monday, June 26, 2006, at 5:15 a.m. at Heritage Manor. She was 95. Visiting at New Ark Baptist Church from 8 a.m. Saturday, July 1, until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Melvin Carter. Interment in Gilbert's Memorial Park. She is survived by two daughters, Velma Cage and husband Major Willie Cage and Everlena Tillotson and husband Arthur Tillotson; three sons, Arthur Cotton and wife Conelius Cotton, Lee Cotton Sr. and wife Audrey Cotton and Willie Forrest and wife Bernadine Forrest; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Forrest; mother, father, three sisters and two brothers. Special thanks to the staff at Heritage Manor. Arrangements by Desselle Funeral Home.
