Florence Elizabeth Pritchard Gill

Gill, Florence Elizabeth Pritchard A native of Pike County, Miss., she died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was 86. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, Sept. 4, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by Bruce Gill. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Mary and Richard "Buddy" Wilson and Sarah Babin; son, Lavern Gill and special friend Elaine Lovett; sister, Hazel Rau; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lelon Gill; son, Ricky Gill; daughter, Dot Smiley; and son-in-law, Justin Babin. Pallbearers will be Brian Wilson, Scott Wilson, Ricky Gill, Calvin Babin, Chad Blouin and Ronnie George. Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Minor, David Sansone, Lin "Jr." Guerin, Jody Ducote, Blake Ortego, Colton Ortego and Joshua Allemond. A special thanks to Dr. Harold Brandt, Wanda and Brandy, and nurse Stacie Purvis and Hospice of Baton Rouge.
