Dear Siggi
We were very sorry to read today of your husband's passing. Although we did not have the pleasure of knowing Robin, his photograph reveals a wonderful individual. They say that a man is a success, who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much. In reading about Robin, we would say that he was definitely such a man. So very sorry for your loss and may the memories of a wonderful lifetime together bring you comfort during this most difficult time. Love, Alison, John, and Mitchell Normand. Siggi and family,
Our deepest sympathies are with you all. Robin was my all time favorite hockey coaches. He spoiled us with his gentle, yet intuitive coaching skills. He never yelled at the boys just had quiet "fire-side" chats with them. We realize this was just one area in his life where he showed impressive skills.

Although I have not seen Robin in many years, my memories of him are from another lifetime altogether. They come from a time of lazy, hazy days spent with our horses at Pegasus Stables. We were kids, without a care in the world - Robin and his sidekick Allan Chambers. Those were the days!
Upon reading such heartfelt words written in tribute to Robin's life it appears that he grew up to be a very fine man.
I'm so sorry for your loss Siggi. I had only just met you back then and know how much you loved him.

Like many others, I, too, had the pleasure of working with Robin at AB Seniors.
Approachable, courteous, passionate and always willing to help, Robin was the definition of a 'stand-up guy' and a truly wonderful colleague.
May the memories of this special man, sustain all of you during this most difficult time.
With prayers and sincerest condolences......

I have had the privilege of knowing Robin for the past 30 years while working with Seniors. The most outstanding thing I remember about Robin was how approachable he was, no matter how far he advanced up the ladder of success. You could call his business phone number and actually get to speak directly to him, because he answered his own phone. He was man of integrity and remained humble no matter what his position or title. He will be missed by all who knew him.
My sincere condolences to Robin's family and may you find comfort knowing he was respected and loved by many.

To the Wigston Family: I know that no words that I write can ease the pain and sorrow that you are experiencing now. But please know that the many tributes and other "words" about Robin are all very true - A wonderful person who was good to the "core of his being". Always a smile and encouragement from Robin. The physical world lost a great visionary, kind man. I was just one of few who were blessed in knowing him.
With my deepest sympathy -

Dear Siggi, Mark, Jay and families;
Our heartfelt condolences go out to you but there don't seem to be words big enough to express the vacuum that Robin's passing is leaving for those of us who have crossed paths with him along his too short life's journey. Robin inspired admiration by example in a life well lived. To Robin's loved ones may you fill the void somewhat by knowing how many of us understand the depth of your sorrow and share your grief. We also treasure the memories.

I have known Robin for over 30 years and even though I have lived in the United States for many years he is still one of my dearest and closest friends. I met him through the sport of Team Roping and in 1984 I had the priviledge of winning the Lakeland Rodeo Finals with him. He was a great friend, family man and rodeo partner and he will be deeply missed.
Rest in Peace my Friend

On behalf of myself and Devon Men's League I would like to offer our sincere condolences to Siggi and family.Robin was a tough competitor but a great sport and I was honored to partner him for Devon Interclub and to compete with him head to head for 2 rounds when he won the Club Championship in 2008.We missed seeing that silky swing around the club this year and will continue to do so. We will also miss his skill with a chainsaw this fall. Robin's memory will be honored annually at Devon by those who knew him as a friend.

I wish to convey my deepest condolences to Siegred, Mark, Jay and extended family members. I worked with Robin at Alberta Seniors Housing in 2000-2003. He was a great person to work with. Very kind, intelligent, and had a great sense of humor. What struck me as unique about Robin was he was down to earth as a manager, listened and was a good leader. May you remember him as a shining individual and cherish your memories. The days ahead will be difficult, but lean on the Lord for strength.
