Joseph Tice Obituary

Joseph Henry Tice Jr, of Martinez, GA, passed away on October 6, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. He was 48 years old.
Joe was born in Washington DC, to Joseph H. Tice, Sr., and Kathryn M. Tice on March 19, 1977. He grew up in Reedsville, PA and graduated from Indian Valley High School, after which he attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, studying 3D graphic design. After brief work in the video game industry, he discovered he was better at leadership and management than artist work and enjoyed it more. In the years following, he enjoyed projects that included government, private, freelance, and art contract work. Joe spent the last 5 years working as a product manager for Oddball, Inc, on a team supporting the Veterans Administration website.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Mandy and three stepchildren, Emma, Hannah and Noah Costello, his devoted mother, Kathryn, his supportive sister, Kate, as well as three caring half-sisters, Marianne Ferland (and her late husband, Andre), Debbie Bolton and Cindy Pagnotti (Joseph), in addition to numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Joe cherished his family and loved nothing more than eating good food on a date with Mandy or beaming with pride as he cheered on the kids in their various concerts, programs, and games. Whether it was cheering for the New Orleans Saints, keeping up with the Marvel Universe, or converting people to Albanese gummy bears, Joe was all-in with everything he did.
Joe's faith was central and at the forefront of his life. He loved serving at his church and taking every opportunity to deepen his relationship with Jesus. He wanted his life to glorify God and point others towards Him, and it did.
A service to celebrate Joe's life will be held at In Focus Church on Thursday, October 16th at 1 p.m., located at 562 Rountree Way, Evans, GA 30809.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be made to In Focus Church.

I wish I´d had the chance to work with Joe longer, because he was the kind of person everyone wants to work with. Joe was a natural leader who always looked out for his team. He was strong yet fair, always kind, always down to earth, and so, so funny. His humor, humility, and kindness brightened every room and every meeting. Joe made a lasting impact on those around him and will be deeply missed.

Joe Tice was my brother. I was a member of the connect group that he led. He was one of the most GOD fearing man that I have had the priviledge to come to know. He supported me when I was ill, prayed with me on many topics and shared his vision for a non profit spirit filled web based application. I rejoice that he is in heaven with our LORD, and hope that I will see him soon but my spirit is grieving for the friend that I love.
