William Campbell Obituary
William Norris "Bill" Campbell, 75, of Hortense, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at Southeast Georgia Health System.
Born Sept. 15, 1947, to Dorcas Norris Campbell and Charlie Campbell in Brunswick, Bill was a lifelong resident of Glynn County. He was a pipefitter and welder by trade for the Local Union 177, and a member of the Norwich Street Baptist Church. Bill was also a veteran, serving his country in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. He loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors, but most of all he loved his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Rosalyn Campbell; son, Brian Campbell (Kristin); daughter, LeighAnn Campbell (Chris Fintus); two sisters, Judy Cousino (Kevin) and Terri Thomas; four grandchildren, William Campbell, Kaleb Campbell, Jasper Fintus and Aksel Fintus; and brother-in- law, Joe Mizelle (Debbie).
A memorial service for Bill Campbell will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at Chapman Funeral Chapel, with Pastor David Farrior officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Chapman Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

Sending all our love and prayers.... Sorry for your loss.
We've known the Campell family forever. Every since we first moved to Brunswick. That's been 50years ago. Such a unique family. I hate that y'all are having to go through these heart breaking times. Just know Bill is holding the door like a gentleman and has a place saved by him Roz. We love y'all and again sending our condolences.
