(Dub) Harden
Madera W.H. (Dub) Harden, 77, longtime resident of Monterey County, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, with his family by his side. He was born March 6, 1937, in Clarita, OK.
After high school, Dub spent 10 years in the U.S. Airforce as a Radioman involved with many missions in a B36 Bomber. He loved it. Then he had orders to be stationed in Turkey. At this time, the love of his life said it's Turkey or me. At this point, he got involved with agriculture in the Salinas Valley. Dub was a Pest Control Advisor for Western Farm Service (Salinas) for many years. Then went to work for the County of Monterey, until his retirement.
Dub will truly be missed by not only his immediate family, but also the many people who knew him throughout his life. Dub loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, and going to the Casinos. He was a true family man.
Dub is survived by his children, Dennis (Trudie) Harden, Jimmy (Elaine) Harden, Debbie (Danny) Gil, Karen (Larry) Tholcke, Sharon (Mike) Wubbels; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in the passing of his parents, Wheeler Harden and Nora Harden; wife, Norma Jean Harden, the true love of his life, our loving mother; brothers, Kenneth Harden, Frank Harden, Norman Harden, Donald Harden; and sister, Lovita.
A Celebration of Dub's life will be held by his family at a later date.

You are missed beyond words. From the Very First day I called you Pops. I will Miss all the laughter the family shared, But the Love will carry on with you both in our hearts.I was always treated like a Daughter, not a Daughter-N-Law.
You always showed Kindness and I was ready for that Hug every time I saw you. Our heart aches , But I find comfort knowing that you are now back with Mom and I know that you both will watch over my Boys and for that I am thankful
